Hi! Lovely to meet you!

I’m Elanah! I’m an actor, arts administrator, and director with an affinity for remagined classical texts and new works.

A few things to know about me:

  • Elanah The Bruce is after Robert the Bruce, a Scottish king from the 1400s. My kilt-wearing uncles made sure I did not forget our Scottish History, so I thought I might as well use the trauma

  • I was always a bit concerned I wasn’t a theatre nerd because I, well, didn’t nerd out over theatre. And then I met Shakespeare, and we had an enemies-to-lovers arc, and now I’m a theatre nerd

  • The things I miss most on the road are my (low end) espresso machine and record player. (things, I said things, people I miss the most)

  • My faith is the most important thing to me and is the reason I do what I do!

Current Project

Tour Director, Twice Upon a Time

I work as a tour director for Storybook Theatre’s Twice Upon a Time. I conduct one-week theatre residencies of this production as a director and in the role of Rip Van Winkle across Minnesota and Wisconsin. (Yes, I did loose the Storybook, it’s not my fault I like to sleep!) I love teaching the next generation of theatre lovers!
